The Remedy series grew out of the drawings and sketches I created during lockdown in Melbourne. They were of the coastline so fortunately within my permitted 5 kilometre zone, along with remembered and imagined landscapes – places I could only dream of.
I thought of this practice - the observing, remembering and sketching, and the resulting artworks - as a remedy for a strange, uncertain time.
